Urban Inferno
paper and cake box, December 2023

In the concrete jungle of the urban landscape, where buildings and roads trap the sun's relentless heat,
heat islands are a prominent problem.
As heat islands can be visually seen through a combination of satellite and air temperature
data, forming a visible bump in temperature where cities are located, I used a dome to symbolize the bump.
I cut out buildings and windows and placed pieces of newspaper in between the buildings to show the air pollution
and the detrimental effects of urbanization on air quality.
